Mayor’s Welcome Message

Welcome back to the NBL Blitz. After last year’s huge success, this year’s event will be even bigger and better right here on the Gold Coast. Straight off the back of the Paris Olympics, locals and visitors will be able experience live basketball action from some of the world’s best. With 10 NBL teams and two international teams featuring in 15 matches over 7 days, it doesn’t get any better for basketball fans. The Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre will be rocking and the competition will be fierce. Will the JackJumpers back up after their maiden NBL title, or will another team be the frontrunners for the upcoming season. Bring it on!
